Oil & Gas sector – Q3/2026 results forecast: Strong growth to be sustained on elevated oil prices
Posted: Sep 29, 2026
- Amid the unresolved conflict in the Strait of Hormuz, the Houthis opened a second front at Bab-el-Mandeb and declared a maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia from 20/7/2026, pushing Brent oil prices above USD 100/bbl.
- We estimate that in Q3/2026 oil & gas enterprises will post solid YoY growth, driven by the continued acceleration of domestic oil & gas projects and oil prices above breakeven; however, profit will decline somewhat versus Q2 as the average oil price narrows and enterprises do not record certain one-off revenue items.
