To make it convenient for Customers to sell odd-lot securities, online odd-lot securities sale service has been launched by MBS via Stock24 channel.
1. Regulations on odd lot:
- For HNX: An odd lot consists of 1 to 99 stocks.
- For HSX: An odd lot includes 1 to 9 stocks.
2. Implementation procedure:
- It is applied for the Customers who have registered to use online odd-lot securities trading service via MBS’s Stock24 channel.
- All what the Customers need to do is to log in Stock24 and sell odd-lot securities at any point of time without having to wait until the purchase phases like in other securities companies.
- For odd-lot stocks on HNX only, Customers can select odd-lot sale function on Stock24 or directly place limit orders, cancellable or adjustable orders like even-lot sale orders.
3. Remarks:
- MBB’s odd-lot stocks are not reacquired by MBS;
- Odd-lot securities transactions are not initiated by MBS in the first transaction date of a newly-listed stock or on renewal date after transactions have been ceased for 25 days until the closing price is set;.
- The duration for completing odd-lot securities purchase is about 15 to 30 working days if documents are valid.
